The Blue Bears Restaurant provides a place of dignity to work. The IDD employees are involved with helping to prepare fresh balanced meals and pastries, daily homemade from scratch.
Blue Bears of Princeton, New Jersey, a non-profit organization 501(c)3 employing adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, serve their skills and talent one meal at a time. Every day, Chef Marco, Céline, the staff, with the help of the IDD cooks and waiters prepare and serve fresh and balanced meals with an incomparable international flair.
Princeton restaurant provide meaningful work for young adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The owners founded Blue Bears Special Meals out of concern for the futures of their children and others similarly challenged.
